New here, picked up a 2008 997.1

Longtime lurker, finally pulled the trigger on a 997 Carrera S. Coming from a Cayman, so the rear engine balance is taking some getting used to. Anything I should know about the early 997s? Loving it so far.

Congrats! On a 997.1 get a borescope at the next service to check for bore scoring on the M97. Otherwise they are fantastic cars and only going up in value.
